Function description HE2000 Series

The HE2000 series has an integrated GPS receiver, which is used to recurrently log data about the current position, velocity and direction. Once transferred to a workstation (PC), the data can comfortably be edited, evaluated and visualized.

Every device has four digital inputs of which the external status can additionally be recorded. Possible application could be the recording of the status of stoplights, low beam lights or police signal lights. A digital output can be used to manage auxiliary functions such as interrupting the vehicles ignition (immobilizer).

Intervals of recording can be freely configured. The following data is permanently recorded:

	Travelling time
	Duration of trip
	Driven Kilometres
	Times of immobility (e.g. work time at a location)
	Breaks
	Status of up to 4 external contacts

Depending on the device the logged data can be transferred to the head office by using a Compact Flash memory card or online using GSM/GPRS

As an optional addition an integrated Bluetooth device makes it possible to transmit logged data wireless over short distances

All devices are also suited for use with 24V electric-circuits.
